Floral Fête in Keswick

Christy and I first met in a wine bar on the Charlottesville Downtown Mall. What started off as an initial planning meeting quickly led to us exchanging life stories then five hours later, closing down the bar. It didn't take long for me to learn Christy was brilliant, spontaneous and witty, and as she gushed over her fiancé Matt, it made me eager to meet the man who had swept her off her feet. Christy's vision for her celebration at Keswick was nothing short of spectacular: Greenery climbed up the wooden poles of the sailcloth tent, the most bright and vibrant florals popped against the blues of the linen, the never-ending buffet was top notch (especially the chicken and waffles!), and after an epic choreographed dance performed flawlessly by the bride and her father, the DJ's tunes had this crowd dancing all night long. Christy and Matt's wedding weekend coincided with the bride's grandmother's 90th birthday, and while the pandemic prevented Grandma Char from being present, she still had her own birthday cake and the entire party sang to her over FaceTime before they cut her cake. Forever grateful to the amazing vendor team that collaborated flawlessly to give this occasion the night it deserved!
