Marriage at Mount Ida

Stephanie said “Yes!” to Alex, the man of her dreams, in Spring 2019 and reached out the following week to begin planning her dream wedding in Charlottesville! Not part of the dream, however, was a pandemic or having to postpone not once, not twice, not three times, but four different times! Like with all of life's challenges, Stephanie and Alex rolled with the punches, and when Autumn 2021 rolled around, these two were bursting at the seams to celebrate safely with all their loved ones at the beautiful barn at Mount Ida; their day exceeded all expectations. Close your eyes and picture the most perfect-weathered day: mid-70s, nothing but sunshine, a gentle breeze, and a breathtaking sunset before the coolness of the night. That's just what this duo was gifted on their special day. Their ceremony took place in the grove overlooking the expansive property before guests moved down to the patio for yummy cocktails and delicious hors d'oeuvres, and then everyone was invited into the reception for a beautiful meal and heartfelt toasts. The music was electric and the dance floor was hot! Stephanie and Alex paraded through a storm of bubbles as they bid their guests farewell. Patience is a virtue, and their September wedding will forever be one to remember!
